I first met Mike and Jean at my Rolling Meadows Jewelry store in the 1980’s. Jean remounted her prized marquis shaped diamond in a new mounting with me there. When I sent her an updated appraisal, I scribbled a note that I hoped she like the cubic zirconium I put in the ring . She laughed, and became a great customer. Her and Mike continued to shop with me when I relocated to Buffalo Grove in 1991. I was very sad when Jean passed years ago. Sometimes after Jean died, Mike would come to the store and sit with me and talk about her. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. May his family find comfort in their memory of him.
